Call for papers for the 1st Regular Academic Conference of ISGS
(co-hosted with Myongji University Department of Baduk Studies)

■ Time: 10:00 to 18:00 (including the ISGS General Meeting)

■ Venue: Y2446, 4F, Myongji University NaturalScience Campus (Yongin)

■ Host: ISGS & Myongji University Dept. of Baduk Studies

■ Topic: Go in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
- Status of Go in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
- Technical Features or Unique Aspects of Gobot
- Estimation or Evolutionary Paths of Go in the Future
- Other Go-related topics in the age of AI

■ Application deadline: May 31, 2023 (Wednesday)

◎ Application for presentation

I. Individuals and organizations can apply for the presentation.

II. The distribution of the paper is subject to the author's decision.

1. Abstract: We will make a booklet for the abstracts submitted for online distribution, so
please prepare an abstract for public use.

2. Manuscript: In order to revitalize the discussion, please send the finalized manuscript
twenty days before the day of the event (by August 11). We will prepare and distribute the
manuscripts with the author's consent.

3. Page limitation for the manuscripts for the booklet: Up to 10 pages with the font size 10
points and up to 20 pages based on PPT slides

III. Both papers and presentations are conducted in English. Please write your paper in MSword
or PPT slides.

IV. If you attend from overseas, we will provide 500,000 won for the thesis and full board (accomodation and meals) for 4 days 3 nights. (Airfare is not included)
