The 2nd Go Promotion Awards invites Go fans, teachers, and innovators worldwide to share their inventive strategies for teaching and spreading Go in a short video-format that either document Go promotion efforts or are specifically created to attract newcomers.

Call for papers: Journal of Go Studies 2024 1st Issue

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Journal of Go Studies. The Journal wants to commemorate this anniversary with a special issue dedicated to the question of the legacy and continuing relevance of ISGS, under the title of‘Retrospect and Prospect’. We invite you to submit your manuscript(s) on any topic, and we’ve reached out to a few members in preparation. We will treat your work with respect and help you protect your reputation in the scholarly community.

Messages from the ISGS President

Dear members of ISGS, Already one week has passed since December. The International Society of Go Studies was founded in February, and the International Conference on Go was held in August. Now, the second edition of the Journal of Go Studies is published. To sum up, it takes only one line to complete, but the process has literally been eventful. However, thanks to your interest and support, the first year of the ISGS has ended well.

Successful Inaugural International Conference on Go Studies Explores Go in the Era of AI

The 1st International Conference on Go Studies, organized by the International Society of Go Studies, was successfully held on August 31st at the Creative Hall, at Myongji University’s Natural Science Campus in Yongin.
