회원 여러분, 안녕하세요.

벌써 3월이네요. 작년 2월 17일에 창립식을 했는데, 벌써 1년도 더 지났습니다. 세월이 참 빠릅니다.

국제바둑학회의 첫해는 두 권의 학술지를 발간하고, 한 번의 국제학술대회를 개최하였습니다. 지나고 나면 별일 아닌 것처럼 느껴지지만, 재원도 인력도 턱없이 부족한 가운데 회원 여러분들께서 물심양면으로 도와주신 덕에 가능했던 일이었습니다.

또, 이달부터는 Crossref(https://www.crossref.org/)를 통해서 학술지에 발표된 논문들을 검색하실 수 있습니다. 한국에서는 기존에도 eArticle(https://www.earticle.net/)이나 RISS 등에서 검색하실 수 있었지만 외국에서는 검색이 쉽지 않았는데, 이젠 외국에서도 쉽게 국제바둑학회의 논문을 찾아보실 수 있게 된 것입니다. 이 과정에 많은 도움을 준 Quentin Rendu 박사에게 감사의 인사를 드립니다.

한편 아쉬운 일도 있었습니다. 창립 첫해의 모든 업무를 너무나 완벽하게 수행해 준 김채림 사무국장이 과중한 업무부담으로 인해 사임을 했습니다. 이 자리를 빌어 그간의 노고에 감사를 표합니다. 아직 김국장의 자리를 채워줄 사무국장은 구하지 못해 저를 비롯한 몇몇 회원들이 업무를 분담하고 있습니다. 빠른 시일 내에 사무국장 적임자를 구하도록 하겠습니다.

올해도 5월과 11월에 두 권의 학술지가 발간될 예정이고, 잘 아시다시피 8월에는 프랑스 툴루즈에서 국제학술대회가 개최됩니다. 여러분의 지속적인 관심과 도움 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다.

Hello, members.

It's already March. Last year, the foundation ceremony was held on February 17, and it's already been more than a year. Time flies.

In the first year of the International Society of Go Studies, it published two academic journals and held one international conference. It may seem like nothing special afterwards, but it was possible because of the members' help in every way amid a shortage of financial resources and manpower.

From this month, you can also search for papers published in our journals through Crossref (https://www.crossref.org/). In Korea, you could search for eArticle (https://www.earticle.net/) or RISS, but it was not easy to search in foreign countries. Now you can easily find papers of ISGS in foreign countries. I would like to thank Dr. Quentin Rendu for his help in this process.

On the other hand, there was something unfortunate. Secretary-General Kim Chaerim, who performed all the tasks so perfectly in the first year of the foundation, resigned due to heavy workload. Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude for her hard work so far. As I have yet to find a secretary-general to fill Kim's position, several members, including myself, are sharing the work. I will try to find the right person for the secretary-general as soon as possible.

Two academic journals will be published in May and November this year, and as you are well aware, an international academic conference will be held in Toulouse, France in August. I ask for your continued concern and help. Thank you.
