Update on ISGS Activities in 2026

ISGS President Nam Chihyung has recently shared an update regarding this year's activities. Unfortunately, the International Conference on Go Studies planned for 2026 has been cancelled. As a result, the Go Promotion Awards will also not take place this year.

We are very sorry that the ISGS community will not be able to meet for a Go conference or see new inspiring entries for the Go Promotion Awards this year. We know that many members, researchers, and Go enthusiasts were looking forward to this opportunity for exchange.

At the same time, we are pleased to share that the Journal of Go Studies was published last week as scheduled. We hope that the journal will provide another meaningful space for sharing current research on Go.
